Three breakfast ideas for a change of pace
A classic bowl, a layered cup and a recipe morning: choose the version that fits your day.

Keep a classic bowl simple
Start with a cereal your family enjoys and serve it with the milk or accompaniment you normally use. Add prepared fruit if you like. Keep toppings separate until serving so each person can decide on their own combination. A familiar base makes it easy to change just one detail.
Try a layered cup
Spoon yoghurt and prepared fruit into a cup, then add cereal shortly before eating. Use a clear cup if you want to see the layers. Children can help arrange the prepared ingredients while an adult checks the ingredients are suitable for everyone at the table.
Save a recipe for a slower morning
When there is more time, choose a recipe from the collection and read all its steps before starting. Set out the ingredients together and give everyone a small task. Keep your favorite version written down, including any changes, so you can repeat it without guessing.
